The team spirit in our international team is a motivating force – and the key to our success. An aircraft engine lasts for several years if properly serviced and maintained. With 13,640 horsepower (Airbus A321), it is 100 times more powerful than a car engine. After about 25,000 flight hours (or eight years on average), the SWISS Technical Division overhauls the engines for the first time, each one weighing more than 2.5 tonnes.
